Chanel Démaquillant Lacté Intense demonstrates how a skincare essential can feel as calm and refined as the ritual it belongs to. The render was designed to communicate purity, craftsmanship, and quiet luxury, using soft diffused lighting, a low-angle composition, and a pale aqua palette that mirrors the product’s gentle formula, guiding the eye from the matte black cap to the crisp typography.

Project Overview
This personal project began with a self-set brief: take a familiar skincare essential, Chanel’s Démaquillant Lacté Intense, and make it feel as calm and precise as the ritual it belongs to. The work focused on building a refined, tactile material language, a low-angle composition that gives the tube presence, and soft aqua-toned lighting that conveys gentleness while keeping the black cap and typography crisp.
Challenge
Skincare packaging is a visualization challenge: pale, satin-finish surfaces tend to flatten under harsh light, and a product this minimal has nowhere to hide. The challenge was to give the Démaquillant tube real presence and dimension while keeping the render soft, clean, and true to the calm of the brand. That meant balancing the glossy black cap against the matte aqua body, keeping the typography crisp, and building a low-angle composition that feels confident without becoming dramatic.
